As we prepare to kick off this school year with new students, we will be working very diligently to get each child into a comfortable routine for the start of the year. As part of this effort, we will be staggering the start days for our 4K and Kindergarten classes across the district.

This means 4K and Kindergarten students will only come to class three days during the first week of school so our teaching staff and school teams have more time with each student to help them get familiar with school. This extra attention should help us establish a #RockSolid foundation for the year so each child can succeed.

Half of a class will come to school on Aug. 21 and 22. Then the other half will come for Aug. 23 and 24. All students will come to school on Friday, Aug. 25. Stay tuned for a note directly from your school about which day your child should report for their first day.

If you have not signed up for Parent Portal, please do so now using the login information in your email. If you are having trouble logging in, check your spam/junk folder first, then reach out to your school and ask for the clerk. They will be able to assist you. Requests for bus service will run through Parent Portal and it is imperative you sign up by Aug. 11 so we can add your child to a route and ensure they are picked up based on their assigned start date.
