to discuss Navigating the Pandemic

Rock Hill Schools, in partnership with Winthrop University and other community partners, is excited to continue our Parent Academy this week with a focus on providing parents information on navigating the pandemic. The free session will be held on Tuesday, January 26 at 6 p.m. All sessions are open to the Rock Hill community. Tune in to the Rock Hill Schools YouTube channel for the live stream or visit later and watch on-demand from your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or the YouTube app on any Internet-enabled Smart TV. Navigating the Pandemic- Taking a Look at ACEs' in our Community During Change and Difficult Times:

 

Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 6 p.m.

 

Our Parent Academy session will be led by Rock Hill Mental Health Therapist Casey Madden.

 

Casey Madden is a Rock Hill school-based mental health therapist and has been a social worker in a variety of settings for the past 15 years. As an adult child of a parent whose life was shortened by the effects of trauma and subsequent addiction, Casey has a deep passion for educating others about Adverse Childhood Experiences and generational trauma. She is a Tallahassee, Florida native and since moving to South Carolina in 2014, she has been promoting trauma awareness in our community and is a lifelong advocate for children’s mental health.

The live broadcast will be available on Facebook and YouTube.
