Welcome to our Ebinport family. My name is Brian Hollingsworth, and I serve as the Assistant Principal. This is my fifth year at Ebinport, and I am extremely honored to continue working with our Principal, Mrs. Rhonda Kelsey. Before coming to Ebinport, I served in the classroom for 10 years. My various teaching assignments included Lancaster High School, Metro School in Charlotte, Oakdale and Independence Elementary Schools, and most recently at Dutchman Creek Middle School. I completed my undergraduate degree in Special Education from Winthrop University in 1997 and completed my master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision in 2011. I have two sons. Griffin will be in the 10th grade at Rock Hill High this year, and my youngest son, Carson, will enter the 7th grade at Dutchman Creek Middle.
My primary responsibilities include testing coordinator for MAP, CoGat, STAR, SC READY, and SC PASS. I serve as the textbook manager for Ebinport and assist teachers in obtaining educational materials that maximize learning and enhance the curriculum. I facilitate initiatives established by Rock Hill School District 3 and support the Principal, Mrs. Rhonda Kelsey, in achieving the school’s vision and mission through continual curriculum and data analysis. Ebinport is a special school that encourages and promotes input from all stakeholders including administration, teachers, staff, parents, students, and community members as we strive to meet the needs of the 21st century learner. It is our goal to give all students the skills needed to be successful in a global society through the ability to think critically and problem-solve while understanding cultures from around the world. Using a variety of instructional and assessment methods, including technology, the faculty and staff of Ebinport Elementary work diligently to help students reach their fullest potential.
I look forward to working with you and your family this year. Feel free to contact me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone; (803) 981-1554.
