RHSD Board Members

 

In accordance with Board Policy BE - Board Meetings, the Rock Hill Schools Board of Trustees hold regular business meetings at: 
Rock Hill Schools District Office
386 E. Black Street
Rock Hill, SC 29730 
6:00 PM

Regular Schedule:

• Meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. 

• In December and July, only one meeting is held if necessary.

• If a meeting date falls on a holiday or in case of emergency, the Board may reschedule by vote.

All meetings are open to the public, with notice provided in compliance with the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act.

Want to Speak at a Meeting?

As outlined in Board Policy BEDH – Public Participation at Business Meetings and Forums, the public is welcome to attend and participate in Board meetings under the following guidelines:
 To Speak on an Agenda Item:

• Submit a written request to the Board Chair or Superintendent by 12:00 p.m. the Wednesday prior to the meeting

• Include your name, address, the topic you wish to address, and its purpose

• Requests should be submitted to Mrs. Chris Gammons

To Speak During Open Forum:

• Fill out the provided form at the meeting site before the meeting begins 
• Speakers will be called in the order received and must follow decorum rules
• Time limits may be applied to ensure a variety of voices are heard
• Total public comment time is limited to 30 minutes, unless extended by Board vote

Please Note:

• No public comments are allowed about individual students or school personnel

• Presentations of unsolicited services will not be accepted

• Speakers must maintain respectful language; offensive or abusive comments will not be permitted
