Old Pointe Elementary School has a thriving tuition-based four-year-old kindergarten program.  In order to attend, your child must be four years old on or before Sept 1.  There are no performance standards or tests required for admission.  Any child living in the Rock Hill School District Three attendance zone is eligible to attend our program.  Parents of students not zoned for OPES will be required to sign a waiver requiring them to return back to their home school for regular kindergarten.

Enrollment for students zoned to OPES will begin late February.  We will open the enrollment up to individuals outside of our zone soon after.  The class size will be capped at 20.  Once we have reached capacity, interested individuals will be placed on a waiting list.

Tuition for the program is a total of $5,250.00 to be paid in 10 installments.

A non-refundable $250 deposit is due upon enrollment (which will be deducted from the firstmonth’s tuition).  The remainder of the first month’s tuition ($275) will be due by the first day of school for 2014.  These checks should be made payable to Rock Hill Schools.

The other nine payments will be drafted monthly.  All drafts will be made on the 15th of each month.

A learning fee of $100 is also required.  This fee will cover supplies, materials, and additional financial support for your child’s academic program.  Please be reminded that the state of South Carolina only fully funds five year old kindergarten.  Please make checks payable to Old Pointe Elementary School.  This fee stays within the school.
