Mr. Ayende Ignacio Alcala'

About Me: My Name Ayende Ignacio Alcala', and I am looking forward to another excting year of inspiration, positive growth, and development for myself and my students alike.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I relocated to South Carolina in 2007 looking for new adventures, and to attend graduate school at Clemson University. I am married to my wife of 12 years, and have two wonderful sons (Elijah 10 years, and Jayden 6 years). In my life I have had the pleasure of working with youth in a variety of capacities; from managing group homes back in California, to Juvenile Probation work with the Department of Juvenile Justice here in South Carolina, children's shelters work, Academic Advising, to leading a self-contained class of exceptional students in Chester for the past five years.

Now, I am focused on, and looking forward to , my newest challenge as the lead educator of the Learning Connections Program here at Sullivan Middle.
