About Me:  Teaching is my second career and I absolutely love it.  I graduated with my Bachelors from Winthrop University.  I still love animals and have a house full; 3 dogs, a cat, and a guinea pig.  I have two sons, Xavier and Alex and an awesome husband, Stephen, who has supported me through the career change.  I am also a firefighter at Sharon Volunteer Fire Department and I love helping others! The pursuit of knowledge is a passion of mine and I love sharing that with children.  Science is a love of mine, as well as math.  I am very excited to share my passion with your students at Sullivan Middle School.

Learner Profile: The IB Learner Profiles that best describe me are Inquirer, Caring, and Communicator.  My passion for the pursuit of knowledge makes me ask many questions and understand things in new ways.  I love learning and researching anything I have a question about.  In my opinion, you have to be caring to be mom, a teacher, and a first responder.  I love to take care of people and help in any way I can.  I am also a good communicator.   I enjoy working with others and I do speak some Spanish.  These profiles help make me a better teacher because I can stretch your students minds by asking them inquisitive questions, they know I care about them which makes my classroom a safe environment, and they know that they can talk to me when they need to.
