• Nominee must be a South Carolina high school senior and a career and technology education completer as defined by CIP code designation, having earned four or more CATE Carnegie units of site-based (school campus) credit OR three or more CATE Carnegie units of site-based (school campus) credit in one of the recently approved Three Unit Completer Programs.

  While the scholarship has “hospitality and tourism” within the name, it’s certainly not limited to those who are pursuing a degree in hospitality and tourism management.  A common misconception is that careers in hospitality and tourism are limited to lodging and food services, but there’s also relatable degrees in marketing, communications, event management, and business development.
