SPENDING THRESHOLD

Under $10,000.00

• A minimum of one quote is required.

• Procurement cards may be utilized for purchases less than $3,500.00.

• Requisitions above $5,000.00 must be sent to Procurement Services for approval.

$10,000.01- $25,000.00

• A minimum of three (3) quotes is required.

• Requisitions must be sent to Procurement Services for approval.

$25,000.01 and up

• Must be handled by Procurement Services.

• Must be advertised in South Carolina Business Opportunities (SCBO).

• Purchase will be handled as a formal written solicitation of quotes, bids, or proposals.
