I am a native of Charleston, South Carolina. I am a proud of mother of three children and one granddaughter. I am a graduate of South Carolina State University and Charleston Southern University. I have been a National Board Certified Teacher for 20 years. My favorite author is Toni Morrison and my favorite book is The Bluest Eye. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, working with community organizations, spending time with my family, and traveling to new places.
