Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Anna Richards

I have been an educator in Rock Hill Schools for ten years and am looking forward to serving as a Reading Recovery teacher at Northside Elementary School of the Arts.  Previously, I taught first, second, and third grade at Rosewood Elementary School.  Most recently, I served as an Academic Interventionist and Reading Recovery teacher.  I am originally from Rock Hill and live with my husband and two children, Hunter and Sara.  I received my undergraduate degree in Accounting from Clemson University, but soon returned to school to fulfill my true passion to become an early childhood teacher.  I received a Master of Education in Early Childhood from Winthrop University in 2010.  Education is my passion and I love teaching young children to read.
