Ms. Wendy Weisenfeld

Hi, My name is Wendy Weisenfeld and I'm excited to be teaching 4th grade again! I am originally from Ohio. (Columbus and Cincinnati) We moved a lot when I was growing up and I've lived in several different states. I graduated from Texas Tech University where I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in English. I taught 1st grade for six years before moving to South Carolina. I taught 3rd and 4th grade for four years then I stayed home to raise my two children. Will is now 19 and Carly is 17 and I'm returning to my calling: teaching! I love animals, (I have 2 dogs and 4 cats) cooking, and refinishing/painting old furniture. I enjoy coming up with different ways to make learning fun and I like the challenge of getting students excited about coming to school.
