Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Natalie McCrary

Hey there! I’m Natalie McCrary. The students call me Ms. Mac, like mac-n-cheese! I am blessed to have taught drama at Northside since I graduated Winthrop University in 2019, where I earned a degree in K-12 Theatre Education.

Seeing lives transform is the reason I became a teacher. I am in the business of transformation: bringing roars out little lions and coaxing butterflies out of cocoons. It’s the most exciting thing ever! I am also a passionate lover of Jesus, and seeing lives transformed by the gospel is what I long to see in my life.

I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, where I was fortunate to have a high quality of theatrical experiences in my schools, churches, and community theaters. My theater teachers hugely impacted me, and involvement in theatre brought me a sense of self-worth, significance, and being part of something bigger than myself. It’s a joy to pass these things on to my students.

In my free time, I love to bake & cook, hike & walk, camp & backpack, read & write, paint & sketch. I spend a lot of time traveling to various places, daydreaming with Jesus, and dancing around my house. I am also a proud plant mom and soon-to-be aunt. To God be the glory!

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16
