I am still fairly new to Rock Hill Schools and am very excited to be starting my 4th year as a part of the Oakdale team! My husband and I moved here from East Tennessee about five years ago for his job. Prior to moving, I graduated from King University with my bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education. I also worked as a teacher’s assistant and spent some time teaching as a long term substitute teacher in Kindergarten and third grade classes. After moving, I worked as a pre-school teacher teaching Kindergarten prep. 

I have been married to my wonderful husband for three years. We do not have any kids, but we adopted two sweet puppies after moving to South Carolina. Some of my favorite things are road trips, spending time with family, movies, the color purple, cuddling my pups, and going to the beach. I love teaching 5th grade and can't wait to get to know my new class!
