Spanish Teacher

I grew up in Greenwood, SC and graduated from Greenwood High School. I then attended Erskine College, which I loved, and majored in Spanish and minored in Secondary Ed and music. After graduating I was hired in Rock Hill and have been teaching in Rock Hill for over 25 years. I spent my first 9 years teaching Spanish as well as ESOL at Sullivan Middle and moved to South Pointe when it opened and have been teaching Spanish here ever since.

My husband, Juan, is from Peru, and we have 2 beautiful daughters. I also have 3 amazing stepsons who have given me 2 wonderful daughters-in-law and the most precious grandbabies!

I love to watch my girls play volleyball, watch Gamecock football and read. I also enjoy going to the mountains and the beach with my family, along with spoiling my grandbabies whenever possible!
