Science Department Chairperson

I am a Rock Hill native and graduate of Rock Hill Schools. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Biology and Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Winthrop University. I received my Master’s in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. I earned my PhD in Education, Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University.  I received my Gifted and Talented Endorsement from Converse College. I am an AP and IB Biology certified teacher. I have been teaching for over 17 years. I am married, and we have a furry child named Clemson. During my free time, I enjoy attending, and presenting at professional development opportunities, spending time with family, and baking. I am an advocate for STEM/STEAM education and enjoy preparing students to compete academically with peers through innovative educational explorations.
