Originally from Morgantown, WV, I graduated from University High School in 1990 and went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in 1995 from West Virginia University.  In college, I worked as a legal intern/clerk for a local criminal defense attorney.  I started my career at Chester High School in 1995, moved to Rock Hill High School in 1999, and then had the privilege of moving to South Pointe in its inaugural year.  

I am married with two daughters, Addison and Alexa, and my wife is a reading recovery teacher in the Clover School District.  We currently live in Lake Wylie and I love to read, run, boat, fish, ski, and travel.
