Hello! I am Kizzie Kirkpatrick.  I am a second grade teacher here at Old Pointe Elementary School.  I have my undergraduate degree from Winthrop University, in Early Childhood Education, I have my Master’s Degree from Columbia College, in Divergent Learning, and I am currently working towards my Doctorate, in Management and Leadership.  I taught 4-year-old Kindergarten for 5 years and this will be my 7^th year teaching 5-year-old Kindergarten.  I have a very large family, outside of my school family, and I am mom to the most beautiful, 12-year-old, Australian Cattle Dog.  I love teaching; I teach because I love children and I know I change the world everyday!  We need to change this world, and this is the way I'm choosing to do it. Teaching gives me the privilege to be a part of changing hearts and molding minds.  I guide children in becoming empowered, literate, engaged, creative, liberated human beings who want to be world changers.
