Mr. Chris Curtis

Mr. Chris Curtis is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Education from Ball State University in 1992. He started teaching at Kouts Jr./Sr. High School in 1993. While there he taught middle and high school Industrial Technology courses. Upon receiving his Master’s Degree from Ball State University in Technology Education in 1996, Mr. Curtis moved to Greenfield, Indiana where he taught high school Pre-Engineering, Graphic Design, Video Production and coached football and wrestling at Greenfield Central High School until 1999. In 2000 Mr. Curtis moved to Clover, South Carolina where he began teaching Middle School Technology Education and coaching at Clover Jr. High School. His administrative career began in 2008, where he served as an Assistant Principal at Dutchman Creek Middle School for seven years. In 2015, he was named Assistant Director of The Applied Technology Center and severed in that role until 2019 when he was named an Assistant Principal at Northwestern High School.
Mr. Curtis is a devoted Michigan Wolverine fan, who enjoys traveling and regular trips to Indianapolis to visit his parents and family. His son Sergio is a 2016 graduate of Northwestern High School and is currently in the National Guard and attending the University of South Carolina. Mr. Curtis is currently an active member of SCCTEA, SCASA and Advance CTE.
