Ms. Ann Schuh - Registrar/Data Manager

I am a displaced Oklahoman in NC working in SC 😊. In Oklahoma I worked as a District Testing Coordinator for the past ten years. Prior to that I was the District Homeless Liaison. While I miss working with the students and testing, I enjoy the challenges of technology and Power School. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education (Oklahoma State University) a post graduate degree in early childhood, (Northeastern State University), a post grad certificate in paralegal studies (University of Tulsa) and a masters degree in Educational Psychology (University of Alabama). I love going to school almost as much as I enjoy working in schools. I have two grown children who both live in Oklahoma and my oldest (daughter) has adopted a daughter which makes me a Grammy. I love reading, gardening (except I haven’t figured out the red dirt here yet), outdoor activities, working out, shopping and cooking/baking. We also love to travel and have been all around the country and in many foreign countries-COVID had thrown a wrench in those plans as late! I miss Oklahoma and my lifetime friends. My life recently changed again when my 81 year old father came to live with us in NC. Raising a parent is a lot of fun! However, it is a built in dog sitter for our two babies (mini schnauzers) Mia and Aspen. My husband Dan and I just celebrated our 4th Anniversary- he’s lucky we are still “newlyweds” or dragging me across country to work at Microsoft (his “dream job”) would have been laughable. People ask me continually how I like it here-I don’t know-it’s been closed since the day I arrived almost a year ago-St Patrick’s Day-so I haven’t experienced it too much yet! All I can say is I’m ready for “normal” to return-and that’s the real “ normal!” If ever you have any Power School questions or need a report run, I actually enjoy it, so ask! I also LOVE testing-I know that seems odd, but I am your girl! If it’s a test that’s not a regional type test, I’ve probably given it or am trained to give it and would love to help out.
