Ms. Sharlene Matthews

I am so excited to be a part of the York Road family!  I began my career in education as a substitute teacher. Before joining York Road full time in the Technology Lab, I worked in the Financial Banking arena for 20+ years. I enjoy working with each student as they grow each day on their educational journey of learning.

I was raised in Anchorage, Alaska and attended college in Ohio. When an opportunity came to move to "The Carolinas" I jumped right in and never looked back. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, traveling and good music.
