Mr. Alex Weygandt

Hi, my name is Alex Weygandt, and I am a student at Winthrop University.  I love to make, play, and learn about music of all kinds.  I like to sing and play piano, but my favorite instrument to play is the Saxophone.  My hobbies are writing and playing games, but singing and playing music with other people inspires me more than anything.  

I grew up in Spartanburg SC and went to Spartanburg High School.  I was in the marching band, jazz band and choir.  My favorite genre of music is Rock.

I have a very silly cat named Dmitri, who loves to play and run all over the house chasing his favorite toys.  When he is not playing he likes to watch the squirrels outside, and pretend he's chasing them instead.

I'm super excited to get to know and teach these wonderful students.  Go Pirates!
