Color Run…will be on Monday, May 22. The Run will take place during school hours. Since the date is in May, we will be extending the signup for the Color Run. You will be able to signup until Friday, May 5th. The cost is $25 for a white t-shirt, sunglasses and an individual color packet. You can pay during lunch on Thursday, April 20th and every Thursday during lunch until the deadline. Forms will be available in the office and at the payment table. Pizza celebration - since we extended the Color Run, we will have a pizza celebration in May for those participants of the grade with the most students signed up.
Donuts with Dad...will be Wednesday, April 26 from 8 - 8:30 a.m.
Snacks...If you have signed up for testing snacks or 8th Grade formal items, please start sending them in. There are boxes in the office to collect items in.
Snack Bags...The PTO is asking parents to donate various snack items to make "snack bags" for the teachers during May testing. Some teachers don't get to eat lunch until the end of the day because they may have quite a few students still testing. The PTO would like to help with that by providing a "snack bag" to teachers who are testing. Testing Snacks for Teachers...This is a link to signup for snack items. You can bring them to the office marked "PTO" until May 3. When the teachers were asked at the last PTO meeting if they would like this, they each said, "Absolutely"! Let's show our teachers how much we care about them!
Next PTO meeting...will be Monday, May 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Media Center.
Muffins with Moms...will be Friday, May 12 from 8 - 8:30 a.m. A flyer will be sent home soon.
RRMS is having its first 8th Grade Formal...on May 19 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. This should be a fun time for the 8th graders! The theme is a "Glow" formal. Please use the link (8th Grade Formal) to signup for donations the PTO needs. Even if you do not have an 8th grader, please consider donating. If this is successful, we will continue this tradition. Please have your items to the school by Friday, May 5. You can bring your items to the front office marked " 8th Grade Formal". The PTO will be selling tickets to the 8th Grade Formal starting Tuesday, May 2 during lunch. Tickets will be sold every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch. The cost is $10. The last day to buy tickets is Thursday, May 18.
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 1 - 5...The PTO would like to serve breakfast on Monday, May 1, Dips and Chips on Wednesday, May 3 and a catered lunch on Friday, May 5. Please use the links below to sign up to help with the breakfast, Dips and chips or desserts for the luncheon. Thank you!!
