Laboratory and Science Kit Safety
The Rock Hill Schools believe strongly that science should be taught through a hands-on, minds-on approach. This is reflected in our science kit approach to teaching science in our elementary schools and our emphasis on laboratory experiences in our secondary schools.
This also means that we need to have our eye on science kit and laboratory safety at all times. To that end, this portion of this District's website will provide information for teachers and the public on best safety practices and a convenient location to provide training materials, safety tips, material safety data sheets (MSDS), etc. for members of the Rock Hill Schools community.
